NinetyNinety vs ESPN
The ESPN app is the front door to a sports network: scores across every sport, original journalism, highlights and live streaming with an ESPN subscription. Since December 2025 DraftKings has been ESPN’s official sportsbook and odds provider. Ninety is the opposite kind of app: football only, free, and built to keep results and betting out of your way.

Where ESPN is stronger
- Every sport in one app, with ESPN’s own reporters and analysis.
- Live streaming of matches it holds the rights to, with a subscription.
- Personalised video highlights.
Where Ninety is different
- No sportsbook. ESPN’s app integrates DraftKings for betting and odds. Ninety has no betting features or links and takes no money from bookmakers.
- Spoiler-free by default, including the lock screen. Watching a European match on delay in North America is exactly the situation Ninety was built for.
- Football detail ESPN’s app does not list: predicted line-ups with absentees crossed out, return dates for injuries, referee card rates, rest days and travel distance.
- Club fan chat with spoiler covers.
Which should you use?
If you follow many US sports and subscribe to ESPN streaming, its app is the natural hub. For football you watch later, or if you would rather your score app had nothing to do with betting, use Ninety alongside it.

Can Ninety hide soccer scores for games I record?
Yes. Choose Hide my teams or Hide all, and every recent result stays covered until you tap it.
